Crayon Creativity

I saw this on pinterest and HAD to try it.  It was so easy and looks so fun.  I think I am going to hang it in my scrap/office room.
To create this:
Gather enough green crayons to go across your desired canvas (I used a 16x20).  I used all kinds of shades of green and even a couple of yellows to help fill in.  It's a LOT of crayons!  Using a hot glue gun, glue crayons across the bottom on a straight line.

For the next step, you need a hairdryer set on it's hottest setting and lowest speed.  Raise up the end of the canvas with the crayons so that your canvas is angled.  You want the melted crayons to run down the canvas.  Begin blowing the hot air at the tip of the crayons from a distance.  If you hold the dryer too close, it will splatter the crayons! You can always move closer when you have gotten a feel for how it works.

Use the dryer to "Push"  the grass to different heights.  When satisfied, allow to cool.  It cools is just minutes.  Using a strong glue dot or a glue gun, glue on flowers where desired.

That's it!  You can create a work of art in just minutes.  Gluing the crayons on is the most time consuming part.  I would estimate it took me about 30 minutes to do the whole project!  Good luck and happy creating!
